With the completion of a major relocation project, CW Advertising Limited has now taken up residence in its brand new Altham home. And although the company has shifted its advertising and strategic marketing operation just a few short miles along the M65, a total of 40 employees took part in the move, which was actually completed in just a single day.
The logistics of moving such a complex business can only be guessed at and it took many months of painstaking thought and planning to put the project into motion. However, as CW Advertising were keen to ensure that no disruption was caused to the everyday running of the business, the actual ‘relocation’ element of the operation took place in the space of just 24 hours.
It was quite literally ‘all hands on deck’ for the day, as the plan was that staff would finish at the old premises on Thursday evening and arrive fresh for work, at the company’s brand new state of the art headquarters the following Monday morning.
Furthermore, even though the great British weather did its utmost to thwart relocation proceedings, the new offices did open for business at 9.00 a.m. sharp, as usual. The ‘rainy season’ made the relocation a little more difficult than was anticipated. But the dedication of the workforce, with the help of the removals company and an army of systems engineers and technicians, ensured that on Monday morning everything ran as regular as clockwork and it really was a case of ‘business as usual’ for employees and customers alike.
The employees, who all did their bit to ensure that the ‘Marathon Move’ was a resounding success, are now able to relax in luxurious new surroundings whilst enjoying the great many benefits that the new office building affords. Furthermore, just a few days on from the move and all the planning and hard work is quite forgotten, as everyone has settled into their task of providing effective, fully integrated marketing solutions from the new purpose built headquarters.
The exciting relocation provides the ideal foundation for CW Advertising to maintain its status as the leading marketing solutions company in the region. And for the 40 employees, who just days ago were moving their computers and in-trays to brand new desks at Saturn House, the new site boasts the sort of facilities that many companies could only dream of providing.
